The GLB Connection — Why This Matters For Your Ceramic Coating
When GLB installs a ceramic coating on your vehicle, we’re creating a semi-permanent protective layer bonded to your paint, glass, and surfaces. That coating is only as good as how well it’s maintained. Road salt, UV exposure, bird droppings, and brake dust all attack the coating over time — gradually wearing it down. Using Feynlab’s DIY maintenance products between professional visits is the single most effective thing you can do to minimize that damage and extend the life of your coating. A properly maintained ceramic coating that should last 3 years can easily last 5+ with the right products.

When To Use Feynlab Products
Use Pure Wash every time you wash your vehicle — at minimum every 2–3 weeks. Apply the Hybrid Ceramic Detailer monthly after washing as a coating booster. Use the Maintenance Kit immediately after your GLB service appointment to start your at-home routine from day one. In Illinois and Colorado winters, washing weekly and applying detailer monthly is strongly recommended.

But that barrier still needs to be kept clean. Road salt builds up on top of and around your undercoating over time, finding ways into seams, cavities, and edges. Use Salts Gone every time your vehicle is exposed to road salt — after every winter drive on salted roads in Illinois or Colorado. That means November through March at minimum.
